2021-03-11:
First alpha release

2021-03-12
Fixed problem with some TX/RX combinations not connecting

2021-03-16
New firmware should now work with updated standalone GUI for firmware update, to simply update a little
Fixed bluetooth/wifi module not working
Fixed a problem with link connection - TX would keep re-connecting and buzzer go off

2021-03-26
Added support for more hardware
Minor fix to range-test mode
Fixed increased output power for telemetry on Micro receiver

2021-04-13
Sound when selecting menu option fixed
Minor changes in binidng sequence and channel selection.
Use of the same ID will not allow control of another system anymore - added as extra safety, in the rare case where 2 have selected same ID. It's important to note, that this is an extra precaution and it's still highly recommended to change from default ID (321).
FW date, year changed from 2020 to 2021 - wups :)
Added rough range estimate based on measured data

2021-04-23
Visual changes
- Menu colors and speed now identical to previous firmware
- Set failsafe buzzer sound identical to previous firmware
- LED indication identical to previous firmware (no more "all LEDs off")
- Binding process better indicated by sound and LED
- Bluetooth / wifi settings renamed to "Radio modem" instead of serial in.
- Slight change in RSSI scaling, to better reflect loss of control = 0 % RSSI

Bug fixes:
- Fixed problem with 2 last pins in the 6-pin UEXP connector not being init'ed correctly.
- Fixed problem with CTS/RTS. Note, CTS/RTS have been swapped naming-wise in the good old FW. Now fixed. That means pin-setting should be swapped from what you would do with the old FW.

2021-04-25
- Added "RF band" selections for more user-friendly setup
- Fixed power-levels for latest rev. TX
- Minor change to range estimation

2021-04-27
- Successful binding now ends with long beep
- Fixed problem in standalone update utility for some hardware

2021-04-28
- Fixed a problem with the 915 MHz band selection

2021-05-04
- S-bus problem fixed
- Channel mixing enabled (for TX, S-bus and PPM stream)
- Minor change to RSSI behaviour with signal lost
- None-supported hardware returns to bootloader

2021-05-06
- Old "Giant TX" problem fixed
- Telemetry power increased on low-power receivers (normal micro-receivers)
- "Power-save mode" added for new transmitters and new high-power receivers when running low-power
RX @ 5V 95 mA vs. 140 mA
TX @ 7V 150 mA vs. 200 mA
- Support for new 900 MHz TX added (not verified)
- Baudrate setting 115200 fixed

2021-05-07
- Fix for S-bus not working on some flight-controllers

2021_05_11
- Detection of missing control input on transmitter (S-bus / PPM)
- RX goes into failsafe in case of missing control input on TX
- Detection of S-bus failsafe flag, mainly for use in relay-setup
- S-bus failsafe flag set on startup (RX)
- Changes to S-bus input handling to (hopefully) handle S-bus outputs that doesn't use normal S-bus 25 byte format.
- Sound to indicate range test active on TX
- Changes in dynamic datarate for faster response
- Standard min datarate changed to 1
- Fix to large 1W RX causing problems

2021-05-12
- RSSI resolution improved and scaled for better linearity.
- Support for datarate option "0" added for extreme long range and low update-rate. Not well tested yet

2021-05-18 - Major update
- Fixed problem with low output power during binding
- Crossfire control input fixed
- Early test-implementation of > 250Hz RF mode
- Early implementation of RF profiles. RF profiles/templates replaces more advanced RF settings, for easier selection of correct settings
- High resolution option removed, now always enabled
- 12 channel enabled for hi-res mode instead of previous limit of 10 channels
- Re-write of channel value information, to match S-bus and crossfire resolution to avoid "compression" and truncation of data.
- Default failsafe values set to minimum on all channels

RF modes:
Normal: Jack of all trades, will cover most basic needs.
Race: Priority to latency. Almost identical to "normal", but uses a lower minimum update-rate and goes to 250 Hz
High data: For use with MavLink data over radio modem. Works best with flow-control
Max data: For use with MavLink data over radio modem. Increased datarate, which should also work fine without flow-control

2021-07-16
- New FW clears all settings, to avoid problems with corrupt settings
- Power selection assignable to a channel. Mainly useful in cases where the switch is not accessible.
- Power setting for the RX now sets the maximum power allowed for auto-power, rather than fixed power level. Fixed power level is no longer available on the RX, to minimize heat and power consumption.
- Fixed problem with PPM/Sbus channel selection also causing changes on servo PWM channel
- Implemented channel mapping for PWM-output
- Fixed problem with failsave settings not following channel mixing in PPM/S-bus stream
- Enabled menu 4 to be used for random ID selection (instead of GUI selection)
- Fixed problem with channel 8 pin assignment on RX
